Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat Pali

The Maharani Bagh was gifted to his Maharani by Maharja Takhat Singh of Jodhpur in the 19th century. Picturesquely located at the foot of the forested Aravalli Hills that divided the former kingdoms of Marwar-Jodhpur and Mewar-Udaipur, Maharani Bagh remains essentially a nature retreat. The hills and forests around the royal estate are abound with wildlife. Wild boar and Nilgai and are commonly sighted, and the fortunate may get a glimpse of the elusive sloth bear or leopard.
