Dausa Bhadrawati Palace

The Bhadrawati Palace A Heritage Property with a fascinating History. Tracing back to 11th Century, when the Kachawa Chieftain Dhula Rao Saheb defeated the Badgujars and conquered Bhandarej.
Bhandarej Fort was built in the 11th century and has been renovated extensively since. Recently, in the year 1994 Bhandarej fort was made in to a Palace Hotel. History says that in 1767 AD during the Maonda-Mandholi War, then aged Rao Dalel Singh was the commander of Jaipur forces against Bharatpur ruler Jawahar Singh at Maonda-Mandholi, near Neem Ka Thana. In that fierce battle Rao Dalel singh, his son Kunwar Laxman Singh and grandson Bhanwar Raj Singh (11yr), all lost their lives. Such is the bravery of Bhandarej Chieftains.
