Sukhdham Kothi Kota

This heritage property was christened Sukhdham — the abode of bliss by His Highness Umed Singh ji, Maharao of Kota. Built by the British in circa 1870 as the residence of the Agency Surgeon, it later became the residence of Col Prithi Singhji, M.B.E., G.O.C., Kotah State Forces. He had earlier got the Kings’ Commission and served in the British Indian Army with distinction. His grandsons Jaiwardhan and Harshvardhan are your hosts, and they will ensure a comfortable and pleasurable stay.
Made of dressed sandstone, this mansion comprises arcades, terraces and balconies with intricate stone screens, and is an architectural gem. The 15 well-appointed rooms are tastefully furnished with traditional and colonial furniture to maintain the character of the place.
